Security on alert following three hand grenade attacks in Karachi

KARACHI: An air of panic spread across the southern metropolis Friday morning when three separate grenade attacks were carried out within a span of two hours.

Security across the city was put on high alert following the attacks.

According to details, unidentified men hurled a hand grenade at the main entrance of Mubina town police station a little after 9:15AM. Approximately 15 minutes later unknown attackers hurled a grenade at the APWA Girls College, Karimabad from atop the Karimabad flyover. The third attack took place 30 minutes after the second near a private school in North Nazimabad. Luckily no loss of life was reported due to the attacks.
