Punjab CM spox says Twitter account suspended on Maryam Nawaz's complaint

LAHORE: Dr Shahbaz Gill, the spokesman for Punjab chief minister, Monday said that micro-blogging site Twitter had partially suspended his account.

Confirming suspension of his account, Gill said it was partially suspended on a complaint by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz.

He further said he had reported to Twitter that Nawaz Sharif was a prisoner and giving information about the former premier was his responsibility.

Gill said Maryam complained to Twitter regarding dissemination of information on her father's health.
