Court remands 3 MQM women workers for four days

KARACHI: A court on Saturday remanded three MQM women workers for four days in police custody.

Accused City Councillor Qurutulain told the court that she had never chanted slogans against Pakistan. “I support Pakistan. Pakistan Zindabad,” she said.

The women were presented in court for a case related to attacking an ARY news office after being incited to violence by a the MQM founder on August 22. Over 2000 MQM workers participated in an attack which killed one person.
