MQM central executive committee member resigns

KARACHI: A member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Central Executive Committee Amjadullah Khan has resigned.

Amjadullah Khan said he had resigned because of his loyalty to MQM and the party’s founder.

He had joined the MQM one day before the NA-245 by-election and was a member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf prior to this.

Nadeem Nusrat tasked to make new MQM in Pakistan

Veteran Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader based in London Nadeem Nusrat has been tasked by the party's founder to organise a new set-up of the MQM in Pakistan after the party split effectively into London and Pakistan chapters, with the later openly defying the former’s set-up and refusing to listen to the demands of resignations.

Geo News has learnt from trusted sources that the MQM founder has made Nadeem Nusrat in charge of every single affair of the party and tasked him to immediately begin work on setting up a pro-founder MQM in Karachi.
