ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said on Thursday Pakistan has not received any documents containing Indian ‘evidence’ on the Uri attack.

He said India had allegedly provided a one-page document to the Pakistani High Commissioner but Pakistan did not receive any documents containing Indian evidence regarding the attack.

Nafees Zakaria said that joint military exercise between the armies of Pakistan and Russia is underway and added that Iranian naval ships are also present in Pakistan.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said India’s negative propaganda is aimed at isolating Pakistan on a diplomatic level.

Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated as Indian forces carried out unprovoked firing at the Line of Control early Thursday morning, in which two Pakistani soldiers were martyred.

Pakistan has dismissed India's claims of a surgical strike.
