LAHORE/FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leaders have criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan for taking to the streets.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore federal minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the court has not heard the Panama Leaks case yet and Imran Khan has given his verdict. “We have left behind politics on the basis of bullets and sticks. The prime minister will face the Panama Leaks case.”

He added that a person cannot be declared guilty on the basis of allegations.

The minister said that Islamabad will not close down, on the other hand politics of Imran Khan will come to an end.

In a public gathering in Faisalabad PML-N leader Abid Sher Ali said that Imran Khan was trying to provoke the government. He alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Imran Khan’s close aides were bank defaulters, however he was choosing to ignore them.

He added that court should be allowed to secure a verdict on the Panama Leaks case.

Imran Khan has announced a sit-in in Islamabad on November 2 to protest allegations over the prime minister for owning offshore accounts named in the Panama Papers.

The Supreme Court held a hearing over the issue this week and sent notices to all parties.
