Terrorist attack from Afghanistan repulsed in Mohmand

RAWALPINDI: A Pakistani outpost on Friday came under attack by terrorists from Afghanistan side of the border, the Inter Services Public Relations said.

Terrorists opened fire at a Pakistani post in Mohmand Agency - one of the seven Fata agencies that borders Afghanistan – but the attempt was effectively foiled.

Pakistani troops stationed at the border post timely responded rendering terrorists' fire ineffective.

The retaliation forced the miscreants to flee away.
