Pakistani woman found wounded in Australia allegedly by man she met hours before

A Pakistani woman was found wounded and in an unconscious state on the stairwell of an apartment block in Perth, Australia a few days back.

According to 7 News, the woman was found lying in a pool of her own blood which was also smeared on multiple levels of the stairwell.

Mehreen Ahmad, in her 30s, was studying primary education.

Police alleged Eduargo Santos Abrahao Filho, a man she had been introduced to earlier that night, attacked her.

It was alleged that Ahmad and Eduargo Santos were with a group of friends who ended up in the apartment on Murray Street. Later, Ahmad left to get cigarettes but never returned, it was reported. 

The incident remained unclear but Ahmad ended but in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Perth.

Ahmad's parents flew in from Dubai to be with her.
