ISLAMABAD: The report submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday regarding Hussain Nawaz’s leaked picture neither mentions the name of the individual responsible nor his department.

The picture of the premier's son was leaked while he was being questioned by the JIT and was taken from a surveillance camera.

The report, submitted on orders of the apex court, only mentions that the individual responsible has been removed from his position and sent back to his parent department.

"The JIT initiated a comprehensive probe and within twenty-four hours of the same had not only identified the culprit but also submitted its report thereon to the Hon'ble Bench," said the report submitted to the court.

The report added the parent department has confirmed that the departmental inquiry has been completed and appropriate disciplinary action has been taken against the individual.

Earlier, the apex court had sought a reply from the Panama case JIT against the leaking of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's son Hussain Nawaz's picture.

Hussain had submitted a petition in the apex court against the leaking of his picture during his first visit to the JIT headquarters on May 28.
