Two left injured in separate firing incidents in Karachi

KARACHI: In two separate firing incidents, in different areas of the metropolis, at least two were left injured on Wednesday night.

According to police, a man was left injured during a firing incident in Orangi. Police identified the man as a doctor en route to his clinic, when he was shot and left wounded.

In another incident, police arrested the assailant involved in shooting and injuring one person in Manghopir, police also recovered arms from the assailant.

During an overnight raid in Taimuria, police detained four dacoits.

The dacoits were identified as Abdul, Nadeem, Hafeez and Waqas.

Nadeem and Waqas were involved in the murder of youngster Umar, who was shot down when he resisted during a robbery attempt by the dacoits.

Police previously apprehended accomplices of the captured dacoits.

The dacoits were also wanted for attempted murder of MQM MPA Jamal.
