MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday slammed the Punjab government for ignoring public issues for the sake of PML-N rally.

Speaking to newsmen here, Qureshi said nine people died in Faisalabad's Allied Hospital because of doctors' strike, but the provincial government is entirely focused on ousted premier Nawaz Sharif's rally to Lahore via GT Road.

The PTI leader also criticised Mohammad Zubair saying police personnel were martyred in Karachi, but the governor is busy "playing rally-rally in Lahore".

He said the route of Sharif's rally was changed because of protest by the people over death of a nine-year-old child.

"The PML-N's under-19 team has been carving out party policies," Qureshi said, adding that Sharif's rally would not yield any logical results, no matter even they gathered hundreds of thousands of people.

He accused the ruling party of trying to pressure the judiciary.

The PTI leader also advised Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman saying if Bilawal has to do politics then he should do it on his own.
