PEMRA chairman, DG ISPR discuss facilitating media to project positive Pakistan image

RAWALPINDI: The chairman of Pakistan Electronic and Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Muhammad Saleem Baig called on Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday.

According to a statement from the military’s media wing, the PEMRA chief and DG ISPR discussed measures to facilitate Pakistani media in projecting a positive image and narrative of the country.

The two also discussed ways of facilitating the local media in effectively countering anti-Pakistan narrative at play through certain foreign media/inimical forces, the ISPR statement added.
