Defence Minister, KP Governor briefed on border fencing: ISPR

 

PESHAWAR: Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa Shah Farman saw the ongoing border fencing work at Angoor Adda, South Waziristan on Tuesday, ISPR said.

The military’s media wing said that the federal minister and governor were received by the IG FC KP South Major General Abid Latif.

The visiting dignitaries were briefed on the security situation and progress on socio-economic development projects in the area, they later met with the local tribal elders and Maliks.

Both lauded improved security situation and progress of development work.
