Teenage girl with disabilities allegedly raped by six men on different occasions

CHAKWAL: A teenage girl with disabilities was allegedly sexually assaulted multiple times by six men, a report by Dawn said.

According to the report, the police have arrested three of the six suspects, while a fourth has obtained pre-arrest bail. The remaining two suspects have not yet been arrested.

A case has been registered by police on the complaint of the 14-year-old girl's mother, reported Dawn.

The FIR quotes the mother as saying that on the night of May 26, unknown men invaded their home and fled when her daughters woke up.

“One of my daughters, who is 14 years old and is deaf and dumb, got frightened and traumatised. After being consoled, she revealed by sign language the identity of the man who had entered the house,” said the mother.

The girl was reported to have told the mother that earlier, on May 20, another man took her to a "funeral place" by motorcycle and sexually assaulted her.

The mother also said that her daughter had told her she was "raped by six men, including the man who entered their house, [at] different times", said the report.

A medical examination of the girl was done, the report of which is awaited.

“The initial report suggests that the victim has been sexually assaulted,” investigating officer Bushra Batool told Dawn.
