Six labourers electrocuted in Lahore
LAHORE: At least six labourers have died of electric shock in Lahore after the crane they were working on came in contact with the live power wires overhead, Geo News reported.

The tragedy unfolded in Lahore's Shadab Colony area where a crane was trying to lift heavy objects to be carried away with some workmen on it.

Eyewitnesses say crane’s jib ran into high-tension wires and the electric current killed the poor menial workers before they could know.

Details have it that three other fortunate dailywagers who survived electrocution have received serious burns coupled with trauma.

The dead bodies have been shifted to the hospital morgue whereas the injured are being treated in the emergency ward.
