ISLAMABAD: Government of Pakistan has decreased the price of petroleum products following a fall in the international crude oil market.
Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has notified the slash, which would take effect from June 1, 2012.
As per notification the price of petrol after a cut of Rs3.39 has come down to Rs99.97 per litre.
Moreover, with a reduction of Rs1.23 the new price of High Speed Diesel would now be Rs105.77/liter.
Kerosene oil, which was also made cheaper by Rs5.90, has now come down at Rs94.05 per litre.
On the other hand HOBC will now be sold at Rs125.07 after a decrease of Rs10.74 per litre.
This reduction comes on the eve of the announcement of Budget for 2012-2013.
