Fact

Geo Fact Check went through the chief minister’s full speech, which was telecasted on several news channels on March 1.

In his over 27-minute speech, Gandapur did not make the statement. The quote is falsely attributed to him.

His actual words, when he spoke about terrorism, are transcribed below:

“The biggest challenge for our province, and which we will work to end first, is terrorism. No country can progress until there is peace. We have to protect our people and our children. Our forces and people have made a lot of sacrifices. Hopefully, those who want to spread terror, their minds can be changed too.”
