Taylor Swift reveals first single of 'The Tortured Poets Department'

Taylor Swift just announced the first single of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department a few hours before its release.

The Lover crooner took to her official Instagram account to upload a post revealing her album’s first track, a collaboration with none other than Post Malone.

“The first single from The Tortured Poets Department is…………. Fortnight featuring @postmalone I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever,” Swift wrote in her caption.

In the poster the Karma hit-maker can be seen sitting beside Post Malone, in a monochromatic poster, aligning with the colour scheme of Swift’s eleventh studio album.

Hyping her fans up to listen to the forthcoming song, Swift continued, “I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight. Honestly can’t wait for you guys to hear this song at Midnight TONIGHT and see the video at 8pm ET TOMORROW.”

Taylor Swift unveiled her album, The Tortured Poets Department at the 2024 Grammy Awards and is nearing its April 19, 2024 release.
