Sindh CNG pumps to observe two-day closure

KARACHI: Filling stations of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will remain closed across the province of Sindh for two days from 8 AM Thursday to the same time Saturday, according to an announcement of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).

The closure of CNG, a low lost fuel used by thousands of private vehicles and 80 percent passenger busses, increases the difficulties of commuters, mostly those who travel by public transport.

During the CNG-less days, the transporters run fewer busses which add to the hardships of students, office goers, daily wagers and others, as they are already facing difficulties due to inadequate and insufficient number of public transport.
