Prices of food products expected to decrease

KARACHI: The price of essential food products are expected to decrease at utility stores following the drop in the price of petroleum product.

The price of cooking oil is expected to decrease by Rs 10 per litre while the prices of pulses will decrease by Rs 5-8 per kilo.

During the last two months the price of cooking oil has already decreased by Rs 15-22.

The new prices of food products are expected to go into effect from January 1.
