Tracking justice online: IHC launches mobile phone app

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court introduced a mobile phone app which will enable petitioners to track down the status of their cases online.

The mobile phone app was launched at a two-day information technology conference inaugurated by IHC Acting Chief Justice Noor ul Haq Qureshi.

Speaking at the conference he said that in order to improve performance of the courts one cannot over rule the importance of technology. “This app will save time of petitioners who had to physically visit the courts to find out about the status of their cases.”

The app has been named the 'IHC Mobile App'.

A large number of lawyers attended the ceremony.
