NICH, Giannina Gaslini Italy to start exchange programme for better healthcare

KARACHI: The Consul-General of Italy Anna Ruffino announced on Thursday that the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) and the Istituto Giannina Gaslini in Italy will soon start an exchange program.

Speaking to the media Ruffino said, “We would like to start an exchange program between NICH and the Istituto Giannina Gaslini for better healthcare.”

“Through this exchange program doctors from Italy will visit NICH and in the same way doctors from NICH will visit Italy to learn and work there,” she added.

The Italian consul-general also appreciated the NICH’s efforts to provide quality health care to the needy.

Other Italian pediatrician’s accompanying Ruffino also appreciated the hospitals’ efforts in maintaining the institute and for their services.

Dr Ubaldo Rosati said, “The physicians and the wards staffs are highly professional and we would very much like to work with them for better results in health care”.
