KARACHI: HOPES, a student-run organisation, will hold its fifth health expo on Sunday, January 2, 2020 at the Expo Centre for underprivileged patients in Karachi.

The student-run organisation has been working at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital since 1995 and provides free of cost medical and diagnostic facilities to the patients of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases, and the Dental OPD at KMDC.

The NGO has organised this expo since the past four years for underprivileged patients in the city.

This year, the health expo will be held inside Hall number 2 of the Expo Centre and will have clinics for free medical checkups and consultations, screenings, blood donation, a first aid training workshop, and other health-related activities.

A press release from the organisation stated that no pre-registration was required for visitors. The event is being held to bring together health workers, corporate professionals, and the general public for health awareness.
