Billie Eilish discovers key reality about herself from her song

Lunch was the song, says Billie Eilish, that made clear her doubts and made her realise she was attracted to girls.

The track in question was featured in the upcoming album, Hit Me Hard and Soft set to release on May 17.

“That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real,” the Grammy winner explained.

“I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after,” she told Rolling Stone.

The No Time To Die hitmaker continued, “I’ve been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn’t understand — until, last year, I realized I wanted my face in a vagina.”

Billie, however, previously dated men as the most recent one was Jesse Rutherford.

However, the pair called it quits in May 2023, but they stressed they remained “good friends,” after splitting less than a year of dating.
