KARACHI: The game of death has been resumed on the streets of port city and in a short of span of two hours six people, including two policemen, have been slain in separate incidents of violence, Geo News reported.

The killings happened hours after the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan claimed the target killings had witnessed a decline in Karachi.

According to details, a man was shot dead at Gol Market Nazimabad in central Karachi.

Police said the deceased, identified as Noorul Amin, was chairman of a mosque committee. Further investigation into the incident continues.

In a similar incident, two people were killed when unknown men opened fire on a rickshaw in New Karachi sector-5. Both the slain persons belonged to the Bohri community, said the police.

Two policemen lost their lives in a firing incident.

SSP Central said the two policemen were killed in firing on police mobile in Haidri.
