Michelle Obama hosts Begum Kalsoom Nawaz

WASHINGTON: US First Lady Michelle Obama hosted Begum Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif at the White House.

Dr Jill Biden, spouse of Vice President Joe Biden, was also present in the meeting.

Both first ladies exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interests.

They discussed social sector development, education and health for women in Pakistan. The meeting lasted for an hour. Begum Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif invited Mrs Obama to visit Pakistan.
