Abdul Rashid Ghazi case: Musharraf’s bail petition hearing adjourned until Nov. 4
ISLAMABAD: The hearings of Abdul Rashid Ghazi murder case and Musharraf’s bail petition in this very case have been adjourned until November 11 and November 4 respectively, Geo News reported.

Additional Session Judge Wajid Ali was hearing the Abdul Rashid Ghazi murder case and Musharraf’s bail petition on Friday here.

During the hearing, former president Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer said that his client had filed bail petition two days after the registration of case, while the court has already heard the arguments and prayed for announcing the decision today.

The Judge inquired from the investigation officer was there any new evidence in the case?

Qari Wajih advocate said that the police didn’t submit the postmortem report along with the record of the case. According to postmortem report, 23 bullets had hit Abdul Rashid Ghazi. The court should allow time for the arguments instead of announcing decision on the bail petition, Qari Wajih advocate prayed.

Tariq Asad advocate said that the police in haste have declared Musharraf innocent.

The court, thereby, adjourned the hearings of Musharraf’s bail petition and Abdul Rashid Ghazi murder case until November 4 and November 11 respectively.
