Hafiz Saeed urges govt to shoot down US drone
LAHORE: Jamatu Dawa Chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed on Friday urged the federal government to shoot down US drone to convey a message to the United States that the strikes were tantamount to attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty.

Addressing a protest demonstration against drone attacks he said; “it is incumbent upon the government to shoot down drone”.

He added that people would be disappointed if the federal government didn’t realize its responsibilities.

Saeed welcomed Imran Khan’s statement in which he warned of blocking the NATO supplies if drone strikes were not stopped.

He claimed that the US and India wanted to sabotage Pakistan’s peace talks with the Taliban. The JuD chief sad that Nawaz Sharif should have returned to Pakistan after closing his file, if President Obama was not ready to discuss drone issue.
