Hangu: Four killed in grenade attack on Lower Orakzai jirga

HANGU: Four persons were killed while two more sustained serious injuries in a grenade attack on a Jirga in Mamra area of Orakzai Agency on Sunday, political authorities confirmed.

According to details, a tribal Jirga was underway to resolve a property
dispute when three masked-men hurled a grenade on them.

The explosion killed four persons besides injuring two others.

One attacker was killed in the retaliatory fire while two managed to
escape from the scene.

The identity of the grenade-throwers and the motive of the attack, which resulted in the loss of four lives, were yet to be reported.
