One killed, 20 injured in Quetta blast

QUETTA: One person was killed and 20 including seven children were injured in a high intensity blast in the Pashtoonabad area of the city on Thursday evening.

Police said the bomb was planted near an ice cream shop located in the area.

Rescue and emergency teams rushed to the site of the blast and those injured were shifted to local hospitals. Several shops, food stalls and residences were damaged in the blast.
