Cracker blast near DHA in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A cracker blast took place outside a house near DHA in the vicinity of Sihala police station in Islamabad, Geo News reported on Thursday.

According to police sources, a cracker blast occurred outside the house of a businessman in DHA in the jurisdiction of Sihala police station. He had been receiving threats from the extortionists for quite some time and today this cracker attack was carried out to scare him.

The cracker was placed inside a water bottle. The explosion partially damaged the house, however, no casualty took place fortunately.

Police reached the explosion site immediate and was collecting further evidences.
