TTP demands govt to create conducive atmosphere for talks
PESHAWAR: The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has again expressed its desire to hold talks with the Pakistani government.

The TTP however demanded of the government to create a conducive atmosphere for talks.

In a statement, the TTP spokesman expressed the Taliban's desire to hold serious and meaningful talks. The statement adds that it is the government's responsibility to create a conducive atmosphere for talks.

The TTP spokesman further added that the government makes statements through media outlets to confuse the public. While the TTP has responded positively to every delegation sent by the government including Maulana Samiul Haq, the government controlled media continued its propaganda against the Taliban, the statement concluded.
