Traffic warden withdraws case against Umar Akmal
LAHORE: The traffic warden who pressed charges against Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal has withdrawn the case.

While speaking to Geo News, the traffic warden said “the bigger man always forgives.”

Umar Akmal’s father had submitted a plea to forgive the cricketer. After the case was withdrawn, Akmal's father said a person who sits in an expensive car cannot misbehave with anyone.

Umar Akmal was arrested on February 01 for violating traffic laws, interfering in government work and allegedly ‘roughing up’ the traffic warden.

The cricketer who is a part of Pakistan’s squad for the Asia Cup missed a hearing on February 27 and an arrest warrant was issued. Akmal had been ordered to appear the court on March 11.
