Days after a heated exchange at the London Stadium with the team manager Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool said that neither the club nor the Egyptian are opting for separate ways after the incident.

Mohamed Salah has been benched since last week Wednesday for his poor performance.

At the time of the exchange, Liverpool were facing West Ham United during a Premier League match where The Reds’ forward was setting himself up to play with over 11 minutes remaining.

As West Ham could not score amid the 2-2, the 56-year-old manager turned to the 32-year-old striker and exchanged heated words.

His teammates Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez took Mo Salah away.

Klopp would cease providing his services after this season marking this one his last. Amid the manager’s decision, there were speculations about Salah that he could also go somewhere else, possibly to Saudi football clubs.

However, these speculations were put aside as The Athletic report noted that Liverpool has no plans to sell the footballer nor there are any plans for Salah to leave.

After the match concluded with a draw between The Reds and The Irons, the Egyptian told the media after consistent requests to talk about the incident: "If I speak today there will be fire."

While speaking about Salah whether Salah believed the issue ended, Klopp said: "That's my impression, yes."

The former Chelsea player has one year left with Liverpool since he signed a deal in 2022 for three years. The report claimed that there are wishes to stay in the Premier League.
