10 militants killed in Sindh, Balochistan border area

QUETTA: At least 10 militants were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Gandyari in Sindh and Balochistan border area on Sunday.

A spokesman for the Frontier Corps said that the extremists were killed during a search operation in Gandyari. He said the militants opened fire on FC jawans and were killed when the paramilitary force returned fire.

FC sources said that the militants were involved in terrorist activities including attacks on trains and gas pipelines. Heavy weapons were also recovered during the search operation.
