Operation Zarb-e-Azb: Islamabad, Sialkot airports put on high alert

ISLAMABAD: Security has been placed on high alert at Islamabad’s Benazir International Airport and Sialkot’s international airport as part of special arrangements in view of the army operation in North Waziristan.

Pakistan Rangers contingent have been deployed to both airports, while personnel of secret services have also been asked to remain extra vigilant.

Sources say that the decision has been taken in the ‘larger interest’ of the people of Pakistan in wake of the operation.
