Govt has accepted all of Imran's demands except PM resignation: Haq
PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief, Siraj-ul-Haq revealed that the government has accepted all demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan except the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The JI chief said he was not in favour of assemblies being dissolved and if this happened it would become the norm to bring change with the show of power.

Haq emphasised that democracy and the constitution were at risk and the government and PTI would have to come to the table for dialogue. The JI chief stressed that there was no time for delays and a truce had to be reached. Decisions should be taken in the national interest, Haq said.

According to the JI chief decision making had shifted to Rawalpindi from Islamabad.
