Government-PTI talks underway: Pervez

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rashid on Wednesday said negotiations with the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were underway and the government will not adopt the policy of violence against the protesters.

Talking to Geo News, Mr. Rashid said the talks began between the two sides after the PTI expressed its willingness to do so.

He also condemned an attack on the residence of PTI Vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers.

It is pertinent to note here that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) had also agreed to engage in dialogue process with the government after a delegation led by Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique had a meeting with Tahirul Qadri.
