Government-PTI dialogue ends
ISLAMABAD: Talks between Paksitan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif concluded at a private hotel in the Capital.

The government was represented by Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, Ahsan Iqbal, Zahid Hamid, and Abdul Qadir Baloch.

Meanwhile, the PTI negotiators include Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Arif Alvi Javed Hashmi and Jehangir Tareen.

Earlier Imran Khan announced his six demands which were as follows:

1) Nawaz Sharif quit as Prime Minister.

2) Mid-term elections be held.

3) Electoral reforms be made.

4) An impartial interim government be formed through consensus among political parties.

5) All the members of Election Commission of Pakistan tender resignations.

6) Article 6 the constitution be invoked against those involved in the ‘rigging’ of May 2013 elections and awarded punishments.
