PAT, government teams hold dialogues
ISLAMABAD: The second round of dialogue between the government and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) held here on late Friday night, Geo News reported.

Talking to media after the meeting, Federal Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal said negotiations with PAT made progress and that they had apprised them about the government’s reservations.

Ahsan said he did not want to comment on the talks, however, he wished that the process should go ahead.

To a question, the minister said he wished they could reach at any outcome by tomorrow.

PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi said they believe on dialogue process. He said they demanded to lodge FIR of Model town incident, however, the government did not seem to resolve the issue seriously.

Abbasi said till Nawaz Sharif is Prime Minister, there is no chance of investigation. He said the regime committee would communicate PAT demands before the government, adding they would wait for the respond.
