Protesters stand isolated, as political forces stay united: Fazl
ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Saturday said the protesters stand isolated as political forces stay united.

Talking to media persons here, Maulana Fazl said his party stands for the supremacy of the constitution, parliament and democracy.

He lamented that as people endured death, pain and misery at the hands of heavy rains in Peshawar, the provincial rulers remained busy in dancing in Islamabad.

The JUI-F chief said if the defiance continued to persist then no one would be able to stop the force of public to storm the capital city. “Obscenity is being promoted in Islamabad in the name of celebration,” he noted.

He said his party wanted the negotiations to succeed.

He said those who used to call themselves liberals have started demonstrating extremism.

Maulana Fazl said it had been demanded that a Parliamentary committee be formed to end rigging in elections. Such a committee has been constituted, he added.
