Govt-PTI talks stand restored, next round today
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi Tuesday said that his party’s dialogue with the government stands restored.

Talking to media persons at the end of today’s round of talks, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the next round will held tomorrow (Wednesday).

Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Ishaq Dar, who was leading the government’s panel, said the talks have started again.

To a question whether the deadlock still persists, Ishaq Dar replied in affirmative saying, ‘the position is still the same’.

The government’s negotiation team comprised federal ministers Senator Ishaq Dar, Pervez Rashid, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Abdul Qadri Baloch while the PTI’s side was represented by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Pervez Khattak, Javed Hashmi, Assad Umer and Arif Alvi.
