Breakthrough expected in PTI, govt dialogue
ISLAMABAD: A breakthrough is expected between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the government committees formed to hold dialogue.

There is another round of talks expected today (Saturday) between the PTI and government.

The government team comprises Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rashid and Abdul Qadir Baloch. The PTI is represented in the talks by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Arif Alvi, Pervaiz Khattak and Asad Umer.

Earlier it has been reported that two days ago PTI chairman Imran Khan was offered a guarantee by Parliament to end the sit-in.

The proposal offering the guarantee was delivered to Imran Khan by JI leader Siraj-ul-Haq and PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira and stated that the judicial commission report of election rigging would be considered as a verdict of the court.

It further said that if election rigging was proven the government would have to go. If the government did not abide by the judicial commission report the entire parliament would stand against it and with Imran Khan.
