Son of Assistant to IG involved in Dockyard Attack: Thebo

KARACHI: Additional IG Ghulam Qadir Thebo said on Tuesday that evidences show that Owais Jakhrani, the son of Assistant to IG Ali Sher Jakhari, was involved in Navy Dockyard attack, Geo News reported.

According to Thebo, evidences showed that Owais Jakhrani attacked Navy Dockyard with his accomplices, adding that the alleged accused had left Navy four months ago.

According to police, Owais’s dead body was received by three senior police officials, adding he was son of Additional IG Legal.

Police added that Owais Jakhrani’s body had not been identified in the beginning after which it was shifted to Edhi morgue where the heirs identified his body.
