ASWJ official among two killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Two people were gunned down in separate incidents in Karachi on the second day of Eid including Maulana Masood of the Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ).

According to sources, Maulana Masood was gunned down near the Ziauddin hospital in Nazimabad. The ASWJ spokesman has confirmed the death of Maulana Masood.

In a separate incident one man was injured and another lost his life when armed assailants opened fire on a taxi in Qasba colony. The deceased has been identified as an official of the Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islam Fazal group (JUI-F).
