Commotion in KPK assembly forces speaker to walk out
PESHAWAR: Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly had to walk away from his seat following remarks of an MPA which led to a pandemonium in the house.

Speaker Asad Qaiser left the assembly hall when MPA Maulana Lutf-ur-Rehman issued derogatory remarks against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in and the way ‘women were made to dance’ during the demonstrations in Islamabad.

His remarks led to a ruckus in the assembly and the situation almost led to an exchange of blows between fuming MPAs.

PTI MPA Shah Farman traded barbs with Nighat Orakzai after which he stood up in a fit of anger and started walking towards her. Other MPAs immediately jumped to action and stopped Shah Farman from moving ahead.

Witnessing the situation as it unfolded, Speaker KPK chose to stand up and take a walk out of the assembly hall.
