Karachi: dacoit killed, accomplice held after police shootout

KARACHI: A dacoit was killed and his accomplice arrested in injured condition during an alleged shootout with police in Machhar colony, Geo News reported.

According to police, the accused were looting citizens when an exchange of fire took place. As a result, one dacoit was killed and another arrested in injured condition.

The dead and injured were shifted to hospital and identified as Muhamamd Irfan and Muhammad Adeel respectively.

Police also recovered arms and stolen items from their custody.
