Nisar firmly denies ISIS existence in Pakistan
TAXILA: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Saturday categorically denied existence of Syria and Iraq based terrorist organization ‘Islam State of Iraq and Syria’ (Daesh) or ISIS anywhere in Pakistan.

Talking to newsmen here, the Interior Minister said he was shocked at the statements of decent politicians hinting at the existence of Daesh only to degrade the incumbent government.

Mr. Nisar further said nobody would have any objection if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) public gathering is staged in a peaceful manner in the federal capital.

He said Imran Khan-led PTI has freedom to hold public rallies but it must not trample the liberties of others. Nisar praised the Punjab police, saying although the government took away their arms, yet they demonstrated exemplary courage in the line of their duty.

The Interior Minister said the state is not weak and the government could have confiscated the container if it had so wanted.
