SHC reserves verdict on Asma Nawab plea against death sentence
KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has reserved its verdict on the appeal of Asma Nawab who had been awarded death sentence on charges of killing her parents and brother.

Justice Abdul Rasool Memon reserved the verdict in the capacity of a refry judge.

One of the two-judge bench had admitted Asma Nawab’s plea while the other had rejected the same. As a result the case was later forwarded to a refry judge.

Asma Nawab had murdered her father, mother and brother along with her paramour.

An Anti-Terrorism Court had awarded her a death sentence against which she submitted an appeal into the SHC.
