Families of deceased health workers to get compensation
QUETTA: Baluchistan government has announced a sum of Rs. 2 million each for the relatives of the polio workers after a case was registered against their killing in a firing incident in Mengalabad Quetta.

Chief Minister Baluchistan Dr.Abdul Maalik said that the families of the martyrs will be looked after by the provincial government announcing cash and government jobs for the family members of the deceased and free treatment for the injured.

Addressing a high level meeting regarding the killings of health workers he condemned the cowardly act and declared the incident an attack on the future of our children.

He also said that Baluchistan was going through a sensitive period facing multiple problems such as terrorism, extremism, sectarianism, illiteracy and underdevelopment and everyone needs to make an effort for peace and prosperity of the people.

On the occasion the chief secretary Baluchistan Saifullah Chitha informed that the vaccination campaign would continue in the same enthusiasm and fool prove protection will be provided to the health workers.
